CENTRAL, S.C. – The Mars Hill men's tennis team showed a valiant effort, but dropped a 7-2 contest to non-conference opponent Southern Wesleyan on Monday afternoon.

Ben Reid dominated in his No. 2 singles matchup, downing the Warriors Daniel Bolivar in straight sets, while Fernando Neto also impressed with a straight set win in the No. 5 singles slot.
