Bio

Brady Moyers enters his fourth season on the Mars Hill University football staff, serving as Wide Receivers Coach and the program’s On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator. Since his arrival, Moyers has played a pivotal role in transforming the Lions' aerial attack into one of the most productive in the conference.

Under Coach Moyers' leadership, the wide receiver corps has produced three All-Conference selections, contributing to a consistently explosive passing game that has averaged 2,110 yards per season and achieved a pass efficiency rating of 143.7 from 2022 to 2024. His unit has been responsible for 39 receiving touchdowns during that span. In 2022, Mars Hill led the conference in yards per attempt (9.5) and yards per completion (17.6) — a testament to the vertical threat and efficiency developed under his guidance.

Coach Moyers has also made a significant impact on the recruiting trail, signing multiple 24/7 Sports three-star prospects to bolster the receiver room. The Knoxville native has been able to recruit athletes out of Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and JUCOs. In 2024, he coordinated and led Mars Hill’s first-ever Developmental Football Game, serving as head coach in a victorious debut for the "Devo Lions" — a milestone achievement for the program.

Before joining Mars Hill, Moyers served as the Wide Receivers Graduate Assistant at Middle Tennessee State University (2021), where he helped guide the Blue Raiders to a 7-6 record and a Bahamas Bowl victory over Toledo. That season, he mentored four of the team’s top five receivers to career years, including All-Conference Honorable Mention Jimmy Marshall and Jaylin Lane, the nation’s #1-ranked punt returner in 2021. His position group was responsible for 269 of 296 team receptions and 27 of 28 receiving touchdowns. Moyers also assisted with special teams and recruiting efforts in key regions including Kentucky, North Carolina, Texas JUCOs, and Miami.

Moyers began his collegiate coaching career at Hardin-Simmons University as a graduate assistant coaching quarterbacks. There, he contributed to game planning and play calling for the top-ranked offense in NCAA Division III (502.2 yards per game) and the nation’s 7th-best passing efficiency unit.

At the high school level, he coached wide receivers and served as an offensive assistant at Knoxville Catholic High School (2019–2020), where he helped develop multiple collegiate athletes, including Chancellor Bright (Marshall University) and Jack Jancek (Tennessee PWO).

A former quarterback at Mount St. Joseph University (2015–2018), Moyers helped lead the Lions to a conference championship in 2018, while earning Academic All-Conference honors all four years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and Business from MSJU.
