Bio
Jim Beatty is beginning his second year as a member of the Lions’ coaching staff. Beatty comes to MHU after 19 years as a high school coach in North Carolina. Eight of those years was as the Head Football Coach at T.C. Roberson High School in Asheville, N.C.
Beatty is a 1994 graduate of Mars Hill where he was a four year letterman and a three-year starter as an offensive lineman.
Jim received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Mars Hill in 1994. Beatty is married to the former Laura Case. He has two Children, a son Jimmy and daughter Meaghan.
