Bio
Jaxsen Wirth, a native of Houston, Texas, is entering his second season on the Mars Hill Men’s Soccer staff after serving as the Graduate Assistant for the 2021-2022 season. He will serve as Assistant Coach and also work with the Lions' goalkeepers.
Wirth brings great experience to the Lions' program. As a player, he played for some of the top clubs in the country before beginning his college career at the University of Charleston (WV) in the fall of 2018. During his three years for the Golden Eagles, the program finished in the top-5 each season in the country for goals-against average as well as being crowned NCAA DII National Champions in 2019.
Additionally, in the summer of 2019, he helped lead his semi-professional team, the High Plain Drifters, to a UPSL National Quarterfinal.
Not only was Wirth successful on the pitch, but he was in the classroom as well, graduating with Summa cum laude honors in only three years from the University of Charleston. He also has completed the Mars Hill Master’s in Management Cohort, graduating with distinguished honors.
Currently, Wirth holds a US Soccer D License and is working the US Soccer License ladder.
