Men’s Swimming defeats Milligan
MARS HILL, N.C. - Mars Hill defeated Milligan 180-47 on Senior Day at Harrell Pool. The Lions improve to 10-0.
Before the meet, seniors Yonatan Arnold, Sam Hartshorn, David Moore, Ed Smith and Jared Toro were recognized for their hard work and dedication to the Mars Hill program during their collegiate careers. After today's meet, the group has led the Lions to a 31-2 record during the previous four years.
Smith and Tyler Treadway each won four events each. Smith won the 100-yard breaststroke, 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard medley relay, and 400-yard freestyle relay. Treadway won the 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard butterfly and both the individual and medley relays.
Hartshorn was a part of both winning relays. Audley Elder won the 200-yard breaststroke and 400-yard individual medley.
Trey McGraw won the 200-yard freestyle and medley relay. Mike Wilkes won the 50-yard freestyle and freestyle relay.
Seth Greene won the 500-yard freestyle and 1,000-yard freestyle. Jared Toro won the 200-yard backstroke.
Mars Hill will host Warren Wilson on Saturday, February 5. The dual meet will begin at 1 p.m. ET.
