Men’s Swim third at App. Conf. Championships
Tucker named Co-Swimmer of the Year
ATHENS, Ohio - The Mars Hill men's swim team finished third at the Appalachian Conference Championships on Saturday. The Lions broke 15 school records at the meet.
Hudson Tucker was named the conference's Co-Swimmer of the Year. He won all three individual events and was part of three relay wins while also establishing National B cuts in five events.
Trey Mcgraw won the 200-yard Individual Medley and also established a National B cut. Ed Smith won the 100-yard Breaststroke and also established another B cut in the 200-yard Individual Medley.
Mike Wilkes finished third in the 50-yard Freestyle and was part of the three winning relay teams. Tyler Treadway set a school record in the 200-yard Butterfly and finished third in the 100-yard Butterfly.
Audley Elder placed third in 200-yard Breaststroke and fourth in the 100-yard Breaststroke.
