Fill the Hill: Lions hosting Local Lion Day for football home opener
Mars Hill University will hold Local Lion Day on Saturday, September 14th for the 2019 football home opener versus St. Augustine’s University.
MARS HILL, N.C. – Mars Hill University will hold Local Lion Day on Saturday, September 14th for the 2019 football home opener versus St. Augustine's University.
The Lions are looking to "Fill the Hill" for their first home contest of 2019 and want to welcome children and their families from local counties with a special offer.
Children who reside in Madison, Yancey, and Buncombe counties who are in eighth grade or younger, will be admitted for free. Adults accompanying the children will be able to purchase a ticket to the game for half price at seven dollars.
Kickoff between the Lions and Falcons is scheduled for 1 p.m. with gates opening at 11:30 a.m.
