Lions conclude day three of BMC Championships in seventh place

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's swim team remain in seventh place at the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships after Friday's events.
Illya Buryak, in the 100 yard butterfly B-Final, placed eighth with a time of 52.10. In the 200 yard freestyle B-Final, Erwin Ortiz placed second with a time of 1:41.19.
Elijah Sears claimed the B-Final win in the 100 yard breaststroke, recording a time of 57.09. Harrison Butler recorded a time of 51.34 in the 100 yard backstroke, good for third in the B-Final.
In the 200 yard freestyle relay, the team of Buryak, Sears, Butler and Vitor Goncalves placed sixth with a time of 1:25.18.
