The Mars Hill men's swim team sits in 11th place after day one of the 2019 Sheraton Le Meridien Fall Frenzy Invite, held Friday.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's swim team sits in 11th place after day one of the 2019 Sheraton Le Meridien Fall Frenzy Invite, held Friday.
In the 200 yard freestyle relay, the team of Matthew Goslin, Brendon Cyprianos, Gavriel Hason, and Bruno Ferrari placed 19th overall with a time of 1:28.31.
Ferrari placed seventh in the C Final of the 200 yard IM with a time of 1:54.50, which set a new Mars Hill school record. In the D Final of the same race, Cyprianos finished fourth, recording a time of 1:56.97.
In the 400 yard medley relay, the quartet of Cyprianos, Goslin, Hason, and Erwin Ortiz placed 14th while the team of Ferrari, Alex Bouhlel, Ryan Adams, and Matthew Kowalczyk finished 23rd.
The Lions ended day one with a total of 143 points.
