Guerrero Named AstroTurf SAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week
Euquerio Guerrero has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C.- Senior Euquerio Guerrero has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, league officials announced on Monday.
Guerrero went 2-0 in a 7-2 Lion loss at Anderson last week. In the top doubles match, Guerrero and Alberto Ortiz defeated Nicolas Ascarrunz and Juan Carracedo 8-5. Playing at number one singles, Guerrero defeated Ascarrunz 7-5, 6-2 to earn his fourth consecutive victory and sixth overall at the top singles court.
Guerrero and his Mars Hill teammates hit the road this week, traveling to Tusculum on Thursday and Carson-Newman on Saturday.
