Mars Hill begins spring season at JDL January College Kick-Off
The Mars Hill men's track and field team kicked off their 2020 spring schedule at the JDL January College Kick-Off Sunday afternoon.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's track and field team kicked off their 2020 spring schedule at the JDL January College Kick-Off Sunday afternoon.
In the shot put, Ben Goodlett threw a personal best with a distance of 11.40 meters. In the same event, Tyler Holloway placed 11th overall with a distance of 12.87 meters.
Austin Prince, in the 60 meter hurdles, turned in a personal best time of 9.46, shaving nearly half a second off of his previous standard.
In his first ever indoor meet, Justin Race turned in a strong performance in the mile race. As the top finishing Lion, Race recorded a time of 4:48.57.
