Lions in Seventh Place After Opening Round of Cliffs Intercollegiate
The Mars Hill women’s golf team sits in seventh place after the opening round of the 2014 Cliffs Intercollegiate at the Cliffs at Mountain Park.
TRAVELERS REST, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's golf team sits in seventh place after the opening round of the 2014 Cliffs Intercollegiate at the Cliffs at Mountain Park.
Victoria Barrett led the Lions with a 10-over-par 83 and is tied for 13th place. Sarah Johnson is two strokes behind Barrett with an 85 and is in a tie for 21st. Jacqueline McCormick is in a tie for 23rd with an opening round 87. Erskine leads Barton College by two strokes with a first day 320. Rachel Moore of Erskine leads after a one-over-par 74. The 36-hole tournament wraps up tomorrow.
