Mars Hill Places Several Swimmers on ASC All-Conference Team
The Mars Hill men’s and women’s swimming teams were well represented on the Appalachian Swimming Conference All-Conference teams, announced on Monday. Seven swimmers made the All-Conference team, with an additional seven earning Honorable Mention honors.
MARS HILL, N.C. – The Mars Hill men's and women's swimming teams were well represented on the Appalachian Swimming Conference All-Conference teams, announced on Monday. Seven swimmers made the All-Conference team, with an additional seven earning Honorable Mention honors.
Hudson Tucker, Drew Rosser, Mladen Senicar, Salvatore Russo, Trey Mason and Ludovico Corsini were named to the men's All-Conference team. Tucker, Rosser, and Senicar were part of a Mars Hill sweep of the four relay races at the conference meet, while Russo was a member of two of the squads.
Elle Grier was named to the All-Conference women's team. Grier recorded a fourth place finish in the 1650 Freestyle (mile), a sixth in the 500 Yard Freestyle and an eighth place result in the 400 Yard IM at the conference meet last weekend.
Justin Gale and Ryan Martin were named Honorable Mention to the men's team, while Emma Duffy, Maggie Mills, Rachel Louviaux, Lauren Davis and Erin Cregan were named Honorable Mention to the women's team. Mills, Louviaux, Davis and Cregan teamed up for a fifth place finish in the 200 Medley Relay in the ASC meet on Saturday.
