Mars Hill sits in seventh after day one of BMC Championships
The Mars Hill women's swim team opened the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships Wednesday afternoon by placing seventh after day one's events.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's swim team opened the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships Wednesday afternoon by placing seventh after day one's events.
Lorna Doorman, in the 1000 meter freestyle, recorded a time of 11:00.15 to place 15th overall. Abbie Hinsley finished 20th with a time of 11:34.95.
In the 200 yard medley relay, the team of Haley Horton, Sarah Shapiro, Brianna Broussard and Elena Massa placed seventh with a time of 1:51.90. Horton, Broussard, Doorman and Massa, in the 800 yard freestyle relay, recorded a time of 8:02.23 to place seventh.
Mars Hill ends Wednesday with 50 points.
