Butler Named to Cougar Invitational All-Tournament Team
Mars Hill freshman outside hitter Rebecca Butler has been named to the CSU Cougar Invitational All-Tournament team, announced Monday afternoon by Columbus State officials.
COLUMBUS, Ga. - Mars Hill freshman outside hitter Rebecca Butler has been named to the CSU Cougar Invitational All-Tournament team, announced Monday afternoon by Columbus State officials.
Butler tallied 20 kills, 10 digs, eight blocks and one service ace during Mars Hill's matches against Peach Belt Conference foes Columbus State, Georgia College and State University and Montevallo. Butler led the Lions with 10 kills in a 3-1 loss to Georgia College on Saturday morning. The Bradenton, Fla. native is tenth in the South Atlantic Conference with 61 kills.
Mars Hill opens SAC play tomorrow night at Lincoln Memorial at 7 p.m.
