Feeney earns All-SAC Honorable Mention honors at SAC Championships
The Mars Hill women's cross country team placed ninth at the South Atlantic Conference Championships, run on Saturday morning.
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's cross country team placed ninth at the South Atlantic Conference Championships, run on Saturday morning.
Nyla Feeney placed 20th overall and was the top finisher for the Lions, turning in a time of 23:30.60 on the day. Feeney earned a spot on the All-SAC Honorable Mention team at the conclusion of the race.
Sydney Britt finished 60th with a time of 26:08.50. Rachel Strickland finished 69th overall while Alexandria Lagan turned in a time of 28:03.60 for a 71st place finish.
Hannah Jones, Emily Wilson and Gabrielle Mrowczynski rounded out the Lions team.
