Thoughts from Coach Benge:
"All of the seven Lady Lions to toe the line this evening set new personal best times after running very strong races. They were all able to work through the pack and pass multiple people in the second half of the race. With a very strong performance from all runners, the ladies team managed to snag the 3rd fastest Mars Hill Women's Cross Country 5k team average time of 19:30, and there have been some very good women's teams at Mars Hill in the past! The ladies will look to carry this momentum forward to the South Atlantic Conference Championship in two weeks!"
