Today, we spotlight Head Women's Basketball Coach, Briana Clark.
Q: How long have you been at MHU?
A: Entering my second season.
Q: Favorite sports to attend/watch at MHU?
A: All of them! Partial to basketball, though.
Q: What makes our student-athletes special?
A: Their passion, and dedication to the school, the community, and their teams. They are held to higher standards not only on the playing field but also in the classroom and excel at both. They put in countless hours doing everything they can to help their programs become successful.
Q: What do you hope the student-athlete experience is like during their time at MHU?
A: I hope their experience at Mars Hill is filled with fun times with friends creating lifelong memories, celebrating exciting events with the student body, creating loving relationships that will last a life time, filled with challenging moments that will show them another side of life called adulthood, and to experience an accepting and vibrant campus atmosphere.
Q: What do you hope the student-athletes take away from their time, as a whole, at MHU?
A: I would like for our student athletes to embrace the small college atmosphere, where lifelong friendships, and relationships are created. To understand that their time on "The Hill" will be some of the best times of their lives. To remember that every class room lecture, every basketball practice, every cafeteria meal, and every administrative decisions, were put together specifically for them with love and extreme dedication. They are loved! And we are One!
