Marshall named SAC Player of the Week
Senior De'Ja Marshall was named South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week following her 33 point performance in the Lion's season opening win versus Queens.
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) –The South Atlantic Conference announced the AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the fourth week of the 2020-21 season. Mars Hill's De'ja Marshall earns this week's Player of the Week honor.
A senior guard, Marshall, helped lead the Lions to their first win in their first game of the season this past week. She pulled together two career-highs with 33 points and 15 rebounds, while also adding five steals and one block over Queens. Overall the Chester, S.C.,native shot 66.7 percent from the floor while going 13-for-22 from the line. This is Marshall's first Player of the Week honor this season.
