Football "Pink Out" Set for Saturday
MARS HILL, N.C.-- Mars Hill's football team will host a "Pink Out" at this Saturday's football game against Lenoir-Rhyne in support of breast cancer awareness and research.
MARS HILL, N.C.-- Mars Hill's football team will host a "Pink Out" at this Saturday's football game against Lenoir-Rhyne in support of breast cancer awareness and research.
The event is being sponsored by Sigma Alpha Chi and Mars Hill University's Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Pink bracelets will be on sale for $2, with all proceeds being donated to the local chapter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Fans are encouraged to pack the stands and wear pink to show their support for breast cancer awareness and research.
Kickoff of Saturday afternoon's football game against South Atlantic Conference leader Lenoir-Rhyne is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
