Mars Hill places eighth at Bob Dibble Intercollegiate
The Mars Hill men's golf team placed ninth overall at the Bob Dibble Intercollegiate with the two-round tournament wrapping up Tuesday afternoon.
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's golf team placed ninth overall at the Bob Dibble Intercollegiate with the two-round tournament wrapping up Tuesday afternoon.
Gabe Gonzales was the top placing Lion, finishing 29th overall. Gonzales shot a team-best 72 in the second round and a total of 152 over both rounds. Brayden West finished 47th overall, shooting a 161 over the two days. His best round was his first on Monday, shooting a 75.
John Moss, who also shot a first-round 75, placed 49th at the end of the tournament, shooting 162. Hank Berning matched Moss and shot a second-round 75.
Rounding out the Lions team was Aiden Hyder, placing 53rd overall.
The Lions shot a combined 627 over the two day tournament.
