Plougmand named SAC Offensive Player of the Week for second straight week
For the second consecutive week, Mars Hill sophomore forward Peter Plougmand was named the South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as released by the league Tuesday morning.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - For the second consecutive week, Mars Hill sophomore forward Peter Plougmand was named the South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as released by the league Tuesday morning.
Plougmand, a native of Odense, Demark, led the Lions to a 1-1 record last week with a 5-1 win over King. He scored a hat trick in the win, including scoring the game-winner while earning six points. He currently leads the SAC in goals (6), shots (13), and points (13) just four games into the 2022 campaign.

Mars Hill travels to Newberry to open conference play on Wednesday, September 6 with a 7 p.m. kickoff. They return home on Saturday, September 10 to play Coker in a rematch of the 2021 SAC Championship game. Kickoff for that contest is set for 3:30 p.m. inside Meares Stadium.
