Mars Hill felled by Coker on road
The Mars Hill men's tennis team (3-13, 0-9 SAC) was defeated by Coker (4-13, 2-7 SAC) by a score of 5-2 Friday afternoon.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Mars Hill men's tennis team (3-13, 0-9 SAC) was defeated by Coker (4-13, 2-7 SAC) by a score of 5-2 Friday afternoon.
The Lions narrowly lost the doubles point, falling 7-6 (7-5) in the second flight, allowing Coker to enter singles play up 1-0.
Mars Hill won the first and second flights thanks to Faris Hadzisadikivoc in a three-set thriller and Marcos Martinez in straight-sets.
The Lions return to action on Tuesday, April 5 when they take on UVA Wise on the road. First serve is set for 3:30 p.m.
