Chavis Named to CC/SAC Challenge All-Tournament Team
Mars Hill sophomore Paige Chavis has been named to the Conference Carolinas/SAC Challenge All-Tournament team
BRISTOL, Va.- Mars Hill sophomore Paige Chavis has been named to the Conference Carolinas/SAC Challenge All-Tournament team, tournament officials announced on Tuesday.
Chavis averaged 12.5 points per game for the Lions as they split a pair of games in the season-opening tournament. The Lexington, N.C. native scored 12 points with four rebounds and two assists in the Lions' 74-58 loss to tournament host King Unversity on Friday night. On Saturday in a 64-56 victory over Lees-McRae, she scored 13 points and had two steals along with one assist.
Mars Hill opens South Atlantic Conference play tomorrow night at Lincoln Memorial with a 6 p.m. tip-off.
