Lions to Participate in Play4Kay Initiative Tonight
The Mars Hill women’s basketball team will take part in the Play4Kay initiative on Wednesday, February 18 against Tusculum.
MARS HILL, N.C.- The Mars Hill women's basketball team will take part in the Play4Kay initiative on Monday, February 23 against Tusculum.
Mars Hill students, community members and supporters have several opportunities to participate in and donate to the Play4Kay initiative. Pink Mars Hill t-shirts are on sale for $12 and can be purchased from Cindy Whitt on the third floor in the Wren Student Union. Donations can also be made directly to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund online by clicking here.
Last year the Lions raised over $1,000 and the goal is to match or surpass that this season. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to show support for the initiative. The contest against the Pioneers is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start.
