Mars Hill claims victory at Glenville State Fall Invite
The Mars Hill women's golf team was victorious at the Glenville State Fall Invite, concluded on Thursday afternoon.
LENORA, W. Va. - The Mars Hill women's golf team was victorious at the Glenville State Fall Invite, concluded on Thursday afternoon.
Chelsea Baker medalled, recording a two-day score of 156, 12-over on the tournament. She shot a tournament-best 75 in the opening round Wednesday.
Placing third was Leah Matney, who shot a combined 164. She shot a second round best 77 on Thursday.
Rounding out the Lions quartet was Caroline Rizzo and Laycee Hoffman, who placed 15 and 17th, respectively.
The Lions shot a combined 668 over the two day tournament.
