MHU Women Picked to Finish Fifth in Appalachian Swimming Conference
The Lions were picked to finish fifth in the ASC coaches' poll
ASBURY, Ky. - The Mars Hill women's swimming team has been picked to finish fifth in the Appalachian Swimming Conference in a preseason poll of the league's coaches, conference officials announced today.
Brenau University was selected as the preseason favorite, followed by Wheeling Jesuit, Union College and Notre Dame College. In 2014-15, the Lions finished in sixth place in the ASC.
Mars Hill opened the 2015-16 season on Friday with a victory over Warren Wilson and will return to action next Friday at Lenoir-Rhyne.
