Lions remain undefeated with victories over Union and Urbana
The Mars Hill women's swim team remained unbeaten after dominating performances over Union College and Urbana University Saturday evening. Abby Harty won three individual events, as well as being a part of the victorious 200 Yard Medley relay.
BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Mars Hill women's swim team remained unbeaten after dominating performances over Union College and Urbana University Saturday evening. Abby Harty won three individual events, as well as being a part of the victorious 200 Yard Medley relay.
Harty won the 200 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard Breaststroke and 500 Yard Freestyle with times of 2:02.54, 1:11.65 and 5:31.01, respectively.
Haley Horton claimed top spot in the 100 Yard Backstroke and 100 Yard Butterfly and was part of the 200 Yard Medley relay.
Kathryn Boland was victorious in the 200 Yard Butterfly and 400 Yard IM and was part of the 200 medley relay.
Lorna Doorman won the 1650 Yard Freestyle with a time of 19:36.41.
Mars Hill toppled Urbana 194-43 and rolled past Union, 176-63.

The Lions are 5-0 on the season and swim at Milligan on Saturday, November 4. The meet is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
