Lions seventh after first day of BMC Championships
At the end of day one of the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships, the Mars Hill women’s swim team sits in seventh place with 55 points.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – At the end of day one of the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships, the Mars Hill women's swim team sits in seventh place with 55 points.
Abby Harty placed 12th in the 1000 yard freestyle, posting a time of 10:49.47. Lorna Doorman and Mara Trowbridge finished 17th and 18th, respectively.
The team of Salliemae Blethroad, Kathryn Bolland, Rachel Nichols and Savannah Maddox placed sixth in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:52.44.
Harty and Boland, along with Haley Horton and Natalia Rodriguez placed seventh in the 800 yard freestyle relay with a time of 8:03.35
The Lions continue action on Thursday, February 15.
