Mars Hill drops non-conference match versus Salem International
The Mars Hill women's tennis team (8-5) was shutout versus Salem International (7-2) inside the Hart Tennis Complex Tuesday afternoon.
MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's tennis team (8-5) was shutout versus Salem International (7-2) inside the Hart Tennis Complex Tuesday afternoon.
After falling behind 1-0 heading into singles matches, the Lions were unable to drum up momentum against the Tigers. Sophia Pelaez took the first set of her singles match, but dropped the next two to fall in three sets.
Mars Hill hosts Lenoir-Rhyne in South Atlantic Conference play on Thursday, March 7th inside the Hart Tennis Complex. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
