Taylor Recognized As All-American Honorable Mention
MARS HILL, N.C. – Sophomore standout receiver Keshaun Taylor has been named to the D2 Football All-American Team as an Honorable Mention for the 2015 season.
MARS HILL, N.C. – Sophomore standout receiver Keshaun Taylor has been named to the D2 Football All-American Team as an Honorable Mention for the 2015 season.
Taylor comes off of a magnificent season that saw the Mars Hill Lions go 6-5 overall, the most wins since winning six during the 2012-13 season. Keshaun absolutely dominated the offensive categories for the Lions as he lead the team in receptions (79), receptions per game (7.2), yards (1183), yards per game (107.5), and touchdowns (10).
Not only did Taylor excel within the team he also registered at the top of the list in conference statistics as well. He led the South Atlantic Conference in yards (763) as well as yards per game (104.9). He finished second with 47 receptions and 15.6 yards per catch during league action.
This accolade adds to other postseason awards that Taylor was able to garnish after a stellar season, being named First-Team All-Region and All-SAC.
