Hartzog Paces Lions In First Two Rounds of Ralph Hargett Memorial
MONROE, N.C. - Chevy Hartzog's two rounds of three-under par 69s to pace the Mars Hill men's golf team in first and second round action of the Ralph Hargett Memorial at the Monroe Country Club on Sunday, March 13.
MONROE, N.C. - Chevy Hartzog's two rounds of three-under par 69s to pace the Mars Hill men's golf team in first and second round action of the Ralph Hargett Memorial at the Monroe Country Club on Sunday, March 13. The Lions posted a team total of 292 in round one followed by a blistering eight-under 280 in round two. Mars Hill was able to jump from a tie for eighth in the opening round to fourth place overall after the impressive second.
Nick Caruso equaled his best low-round score as he shot a magnificent two under 70 in round two. Young Harris leads the event overall with a total team score of 566, only six strokes ahead of the Blue and Gold.
The final round of the tournament will start tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m.
