Mars Hill kicks off SAC Championship
The Mars Hill men's golf team ended day one of the 2021 South Atlantic Conference Men's Golf Championship in 13th place.
TAZEWELL, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's golf team ended day one of the 2021 South Atlantic Conference Men's Golf Championship in 13th place.
Jose Moreno was the top placing Lion after two rounds, shooting a total of 165 and ending the day in 57th. One stroke behind, John Moss shot a team-best 83 in the second round, matching his first round score.
Gabe Gonzales placed 61st with a two-round total of 174 while Addison Bahr finished two strokes behind, placing 62nd. Steve Papakonstantinou rounded out the Lions squad, ending the day in 63rd.
The Lions shot 681 as a team over the two rounds.
