Men's Soccer Announces 2015 Recruiting Class
Head coach Gary Hamel has signed 12 players for the 2015 season
MARS HILL, N.C.- Mars Hill head men's soccer coach Gary Hamel announces the signing of 12 student-athletes for the 2015 season. The new Lions hail from four different states and three foreign countries.
"I am excited to announce this group of incoming players," Hamel said. "We have a mix of players who I think have a good chance to improve our team and I believe they all have what it takes to succeed at Mars Hill due to their talent, attitude, and work ethic. It will be fun to put this group with our returners and see how the competition sorts itself out. I expect everyone to be ready for August and for us to compete at the highest level we can."
The Lions begin the 2015 season on Thursday, September 3 at UNC Pembroke. Mars Hill opens the home as well as South Atlantic Conference portion of the schedule against Wingate on September 16 at 7:30 p.m.
