Distance Runners Carry MHU Banner at Appalachian Indoor Open
The Mars Hill men's track team had several strong runs in distance events.
BOONE, N.C.- The Mars Hill men's track team had several strong runs in distance events.
Daniel Lerner finished in seventh place in the 3000 meter run with a time of 10:07.01, followed by Nathan Wheeler (10:21.19). Cameron Lackey finished in eighth place in the 800 meter run (2:06.43), followed by Lerner in ninth (2:09.32).
Mars Hill will send student-athletes to the UCS Invitational in Winston-Salem as well as the Gamecock Invitational in Columbia, S.C. tomorrow.
