Women's Tennis Tops Milligan
The Mars Hill women’s tennis team defeated Milligan 7-2 at the Mathes Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon. Mars Hill improves to 2-0 on the season.
MILLIGAN, TENN. - The Mars Hill women's tennis team defeated Milligan 7-2 at the Mathes Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon. Mars Hill improves to 2-0 on the season.
Mars Hill won five of six singles matches, with Samantha Echivarria (6-3, 5-7, 10-5, #2 singles), Lucy McLaurin (7-5, 4-6, 10-3, #3), Jade Henke (6-3, 3-6, 12-10, #4), Juliana Fisher (6-2, 6-3, #5) and Natalie Hilbig (6-1, 6-0 #6) picking up victories.
Echivarria and Henke were 8-2 winners in number two doubles over Caroline Morielli and Abigail Allen.
Mars Hill returns to the court next Tuesday at North Greenville.
