Viscusi Earns AstroTurf SAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week Honors
Senior Jessica Viscusi was named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Senior Jessica Viscusi was named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, conference officials announced today. Viscusi wins Runner of the Week honors for the third time this season and in her career.
Viscusi finished in third place at the Royals XC Challenge on Saturday, completing the 5-kilometer McAlpine Creek Park course in 18:20, which was the third-fastest time in program history. She was the top finishing South Atlantic Conference and Southeast Region runner and was five seconds shy of a new personal best.
Mars Hill travels to Alabama this weekend, competing in the Falcon Invitational hosted by the University of Montevallo. The race is scheduled to begin at 8:45 a.m. Central Time.
