Jones runs personal best, Lions finish 12 at Queen City Invitational

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Mars Hill Lions women's cross country team placed 12 out of 13 teams Friday afternoon at the Queen City Invite. Hannah Jones ran a personal best time in the 5K, with a time of 25:24.00
Nyla Feeney was the top Lions' runner with a time of 19:59.00. She finished 44th overall. Rachel Strickland finished 68th with a time of 20:48.00.

The Lions will head to Newton, North Carolina on Saturday, October 21 to partake in the SAC Championships. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.
