Lions fall to Wasps on road in SAC meet

EMORY, Va. - The Mars Hill women's swim team was defeated by Emory & Henry by a score of 132-60 on Saturday afternoon.
Maria Arrabal claimed first and nine points in the 100 meter breaststroke with a time of 1:19.37. She finished second in the 400 meter IM with a time of 5:40.01.
Cassidy Hull picked up four points for the Lions, placing second in the 800 meter freestyle with a time of 10:35.51. Maggie Anders placed fourth with a time of 10:51.66. Hull also placed third in the 400 meter IM with a time of 5:56.18.
Alba Silva, in the 200 meter freestyle, finished second with a time of 2:22.80. She also placed second in the 100 meter freestyle with a time of 1:04.71, totalling eight points in two events.
In the 100 meter butterfly, Sarah Ellen Johnson finished second with a time of 1:17.22.

Mars Hill returns to the pool on Friday, January 20 when they take on Carson-Newman. First event is set for a 6 p.m. start.
