Six Lions Named to Dream Bowl Preseason All-SAC Team
Six Mars Hill football players were selected to the 2014 Dream Bowl SAC Preseason All-Conference team.
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Six Mars Hill football players were selected to the 2014 Dream Bowl SAC Preseason All-Conference team.
Senior offensive lineman Nick Allison, senior running back Shaikel Davis, senior defensive lineman Johnny Maxey, senior defensive back Marvin James, junior offensive tackle Denzell Goode and sophomore quarterback Trent Miller were named to the team. Allison, Davis and Good were 2014 Preseason All-SAC first team selections, while Maxey was a Preseason All-SAC second team pick.
The Dream Bowl is the premier small college all-star game in the country and will be played during MLK weekend January 19, 2015. All senior athletes on these select teams (with no additional eligibility) have the opportunity to be a part of Dream Bowl III and the NFL/CFL Combine in Virginia Beach.
Mars Hill opens the 2014 season on Saturday, September 6 at West Georgia.
