Harbison Named AstroTurf SAC Offensive Player of the Week
Redshirt sophomore Jamel Harbison was named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Redshirt sophomore Jamel Harbison was named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, league officials announced today. Harbison receives the honor for the first time in his Mars Hill career.
In Mars Hill's 37-31 victory over Brevard on Saturday, Harbison ran for 290 yards and three touchdowns on 41 carries with an average of 7.3 yards per carry. Harbison's 290 yards are the most on the ground for a Lion since Jonas Randolph ran for 373 yards against Tusculum on October 29, 2011. Harbison also caught two passes for 13 yards. He is currently third in the league with an average of 121.4 yards per game.
Mars Hill travels to North Greenville on Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff.
