Lions place ninth at Fall Frenzy
The Mars Hill women's swim team placed ninth at the conclusion of this year's Fall Frenzy.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's swim team placed ninth at the conclusion of this year's Fall Frenzy.
The Lions accumulated 198 points over the three day event.
In the 200 yard freestyle relay, the quartet of Elena Massa, Sarah Ellen Johnson, Zehr Gibbs-Barger, and Sydney Gearhart placed 14th with a time of 1:43.77, picking up 26 points.
The group of Johnson, Rylie Noe, Brianna Broussard, and Elsbeth Roper placed 16th in the 400 yard medley relay with a time of 4:09.10, earning 27 points. In the 200 yard medley relay, Noe, Johnson, Broussard, and Leah Hinsley swam a time of 1:55.65 to place 13th and earn 28 points for the Lions.
Placing 12th in the 800 yard freestyle relay was the team of Massa, Broussard, Gearhart, and Noe with a time of 8:00.87, earning 30 points.
In the 400 yard freestyle relay, the Lions placed 13th with the group of Massa, Broussard, Noe, and Roper, earning 28 points and turning in a time of 3:41.38

Mars Hill returns to the pool on Saturday, December 4 when they swim against Catawba. The meet is set for a 2 p.m. start.
