Men’s Soccer to host Catawba in SAC Quarterfinals
ROCK HILL, S.C. - With the men's soccer regular season concluding on Sunday, the bracket has been set for the 2011 Food Lion SAC Soccer Championship. 2010 SAC Championship runner-up Mars Hill, ranked fourth in last week's NCAA Southeast Region, is seeded third at this year's event and will host No. 6-seed Catawba in the Tournament Quarterfinals on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 7:30 p.m. inside the Ammons Family Athletic Center and Meares Stadium.
All quarterfinal matches will be played on Tuesday on the campuses of the four highest seeds, with semifinals and the championship match then taking place at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C., on Nov. 4 and 6.
Daily ticket prices for each round of the tournament are as follows: Adults $6, Kids (under 13) $3, College Students (with valid I.D.) $2. The first 50 Mars Hill students with a valid student ID at the main gate on Tuesday night will be admitted free. Adult prices are $1 off with Food Lion MVP Card. All admissions are 2-for-1 with Toys for Tots donation.
