Malnati named SAC Men’s Soccer Player of Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mars Hill's Giovanni Malnati has been selected as the SAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday.
Malnati, a senior from Guayaquil, Ecuador, totaled three goals and one assist in Mars Hill's two victories last week. In the 17th-ranked Lions' victory over Belmont Abbey, Malnati score a goal and attempted three shots-on-goal.
Two days later, in MHC's 5-1 win against Erskine, Malnati scored two goals and assisted on another.
Lincoln Memorial's Lindsay Anderson has been selected as the SAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week.
