Smith named Men’s Swimmer of the Week
MARS HILL, N.C. - Mars Hill's Ed Smith has been named the Appalachian Swimming & Diving Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week. He won three events at his meet versus Pfeiffer University on Saturday, January 15.
Smith split a 26.99 in the breastroke in the 200-yard medley relay. In addition, he swam a 59.11 in the 100-yard breastroke and a 2:01.04 in the 200-yard individual medley.
Smith joins Hudson Tucker as Mars Hill winners of the award during this season.
The Lions will host Milligan on Saturday, January 29, in Harrell Pool. The first event will begin at 1 p.m.
