Athletic Highlights: February 5th – February 11th
Men's Basketball: The Lions went 0-2 this past week, falling to Carson-Newman and Lincoln Memorial. They face Coker on Wednesday night and Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday afternoon, both contests on the road. Tipoffs are set for 7:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.
Women's Basketball: Mars Hill went 1-1 this past week, downing Carson-Newman at the buzzer this past Wednesday at home, but falling to Lincoln Memorial on Saturday afternoon. They face Coker on Wednesday night and Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday afternoon, both contests on the road. Tipoffs are set for 5:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., respectively.
Baseball: The Lions went 1-2 this weekend, taking game two from Lee by a score of 5-4. They face Belmont Abbey on Tuesday, the 13th on the road before hosting Lincoln Memorial this weekend on Friday, the 16th at 2 p.m. and Saturday, the 17th with a doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m.
Softball: Mars Hill will take on King on Saturday, the 16th with first pitch of the doubleheader slated for 1 p.m.
Men's Swimming: The Lions will swim at the South Atlantic Conference Championships from Wednesday, the 13th through Saturday, the 17th .
Women's Swimming: The Lions will swim at the South Atlantic Conference Championships from Wednesday, the 13th through Saturday, the 17th .
Acrobatics & Tumbling: Mars Hill fell to Belmont Abbey in their season opener this past Saturday. They host Converse and Wingate on Friday, the 16th at 6 p.m.
Men's Lacrosse: Mars Hill rolled to a 23-8 win over Virginia State Saturday afternoon. The Lions host Young Harris on Wednesday, the 14th and Barton on Saturday, the 17th.
Women's Lacrosse: The Lions fell to Emmanuel on Saturday afternoon. They open their home slate on Wednesday, the 14th versus Wingate and follow that up with a home contest versus Lees-McRae on Saturday, the 17th.
Men's Tennis: Mars Hill fell to Converse by a score of 6-1 last Wednesday. They take on Lander on Saturday, the 17th.
Women's Tennis: Mars Hill fell to Converse last Wednesday by a score of 4-3. They take to the road on Thursday, the 15th when they face Lees-McRae. They take on Lander on Saturday, the 17th on the road.
