MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's lacrosse team (3-4, 0-2 SAC) was defeated by Anderson (6-2, 3-0 SAC) by a score of 19-5 Saturday afternoon.
Anderon was led by Megan Muir, who netted five goals and added one assist for a game-high six point. Ellie Wilkins added an assist to go along with her hat-trick for four points while Ava Scattareggia collected three assists and one goal.
The Lions were led by Cierra Ledeen, who potted the hat-trick with three goals on the day. Abby Cleveland added one goal and one assist for two points.
Rory Turner was credited with the win, allowing three goals on three shots in 30 minutes of play. Victoria Kaercher stopped eight shots on the afternoon.
The Lions take to the road on Wednesday, March 11 when they face Newberry. First draw is set for 1 p.m.
