MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's lacrosse team (3-7, 0-6 SAC) was defeated by Lenoir-Rhyne (5-6, 5-1 SAC) by a score of 18-1 Saturday afternoon.
The Lions were held scoreless until the third quarter when Cierra Ledeen put home an Abby Cleveland feed.
Seven different Bears scored two goals on the afternoon with the duo of Abbey Walker and Hailey Larsen each collecting three points (2G, 1A) on the day.
Sally Friesen stoped three shots for the win while Victoria Kaercher made 16 saves in the afternoon contest.
The Lions take to the road on Wednesday, April 1 when they face Emory & Henry. First draw is set for 4 p.m.
