ANDERSON, S.C. - The Mars Hill men's basketball team (6-1, 1-1 SAC) was defeated by No. 24 Anderson (7-0, 2-0 SAC) by a score of 88-69 Saturday afternoon on the road.
The Trojans had five players net double-figures, led by Rashawn Inglemon's 16 on the night. Dallas Jones added 14, Osmar Garcia-Araujo with 13, and the duo of Malachi Reeves and AJ Wright Jr. each chipped in 12 for the win. Garcia-Araujo led the team with seven rebounds while Wright Jr. led all players with five steals.
Keenan Wilkins set a career-high with 24 points, hitting four thress on the night. He also led the team with two assists and two steals. Carson Evans netted nine followed by eight apiece from Jaheim Taylor and Caden Owens. Alejandro Ford led the team with seven rebounds, adding six points.
The Lions return to the court on Wednesday, December 10 when they face Lincoln Memorial. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on the road.
