Baseball’s Bueker named NCCSIA All-State
HICKORY, N.C. - The North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) released its 2011 All‐State College Division Baseball Team. Michael Bueker was one of five infielders selected to the squad.
Bueker was a First Team All-SAC honoree in 2011 after leading the league in batting average (.414) and setting the school singleseason record for hits with 87.
The eighth-annual team consists of non-NCAA Division I student-athletes from North Carolina colleges and universities. North Carolina sports information professionals submitted the nominees, and NCCSIA members voted for the all‐state teams, which consist of two starting pitchers, on relief pitcher, one catcher, five infielders, three outfielders and a designated hitter.
Founded in 2002, NCCSIA is comprised of sports information
professionals from North Carolina's NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA
and independent institutions for the purpose of promoting college
athletics in the state. Membership is open to anyone affiliated
with a college, university or conference located in North Carolina
whose responsibilities include sports information.
